Limited double colored vinyl LP pressing with two bonus tracks and lemon scented LP labels. Includes digital download. Originally released in April 2008, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold was met with critical acclaim, debuting at No. 5 on Billboard's Top 200 chart. By this time, Atmosphere had already grown into one of the most accomplished MC/producer duos in independent hip-hop, with a half-dozen official full-length albums under their belt, along with a dozen more limited tour albums, EPs, and various side projects. While Ant's ASR-born beats had grown increasingly melodic and musical, Slug's name had become synonymous with introspective raps, and together, they'd galvanized a faithful following. However, the thing that set When Life Gives You Lemons apart from previous releases was that it reflected a pivotal shift in Atmosphere's songwriting processes, where they transitioned from self-reflective to broadly narrative. Rather than expressing stories from their own POV, Lemons... was based entirely on fictional stories and characters, addressing societal issues at large, some of which revolved around themes of parenthood - perhaps foretelling of their future founding of "Dad Rap."

MP3 Album: $9.99 Download

BADBADBADNOTGOOD is the talented young quartet of Matthew Tavares on keys, Chester Hansen on bass, Alex Sowinski on drums & Leland Whitty on saxophone. They formed and became inseparable friends at Humber College's Music Performance program in 2011 and have been on a critically acclaimed, rule bending musical journey ever since. BBNG took the music world by storm with their 2014 LP, III, a brash yet refined record of angular jazz improvisations, lush ballads, kraut rock, & futuristic hip-hop tinged rhythms which led to a couple years of touring the world & collaborating with some of the best and brightest artists around the globe The boys are back with the new album IV, their most impressive and highly anticipated project yet. IV continues their forward thinking progression, sounding something like a jam session in space between Can, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock's Headhunters, Weather Report, Arthur Russell & MF DOOM. With tracks like "Time Moves Slow" featuring haunting vocals from Sam Herring of Future Islands, the syncopated groove of "Lavender," a collaboration with Montreal based producer Kaytranada, the rumbling fusion build of "Confessions Pt. II" featuring Colin Stetson on the bass sax, "Love" which is highlighted with smokey left field raps from Mick Jenkins & the epic chords of "Speaking Gently," IV is an exploration in post-genre virtuosity. Out Summer 2016 on Innovative Leisure Records, BBNG prove yet again that the possibilities & discovery in their musical quest are infinite.

The Black Crowes are leaving the bullshit in the past. Fifteen years after their last album of original music, the Robinson Brothers present Happiness Bastards - their 10th studio album. Some may say the project has been several tumultuous years in the making, but we argue it's arriving at just the right time. Call it brotherly love or music destiny that brought them back together, the highly anticipated record consecrating the reunion of this legendary band just may be the thing that saves rock & roll. In a time where the art form is buried beneath the corporate sheen of its successors, The Black Crowes are biting back with the angst of words left unsaid penned on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing stripped, bare-boned rock & roll. No gloss, no glitter, just rhythm and blues at it's very best - gritty, loud, and in your face.

Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they've made a triumphant return to form with over 150 shows spanning 20 countries worldwide, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker, the album that put them on the map. Upon their return from the road, they knew they needed something new to show for their lost time. The Robinson Brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien headed to the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023 and the experiences of years past transcribed themself through the music as the band found their way back to their roots. And it's finally here - Happiness Bastards is out March 15, 2024.

Recorded once again with Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton, the album sees the band change direction from its traditional raw blues-rock style toward a looser, smoother sound influenced by psychedelic soul. The singles "Fever" and "Turn Blue" are included.

On ROLLERCOASTER, Cadence Weapon takes on toxic startup culture, neighbourhoodgentrifying tech companies, fake accounts and the pervasive infl uence of the internet over an ecstatic collection of hyperpop & electro-inspired production, intended to replicate the internet's "sensory overload." With credits including the likes of Grandtheft, Jacques Greene, Machinedrum, Cecile Believe, Martyn Bootyspoon, Loraine James, Taydex, Wesley Singerman, myst milano, and Harrison, Pemberton has organized a combination of tried-and-true Canadian collaborators and "fellow Black weirdos," as Pemberton puts it, to execute his vision. Acoustic interludes from Bartees Strange break up the discord, reminding listeners that they can get back to a more "organic" mindspace, and that maybe they should, indeed, touch grass.

"Hello Hooray," a new version of BILLION DOLLAR BABIES, is on the way as Alice Cooper's delightfully subversive sixth album returns in all its snakeskin glory for an extended 50th-anniversary celebration. After hitting #1 on the album charts in America and the U.K. in 1973, the record remains a highwater mark for the original lineup, featuring hits like "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Elected."

-

BILLION DOLLAR BABIES: "TRILLION DOLLAR" DELUXE EDITION (3LP)features a newly remastered version of the original album, along with bonus material, including studio outtakes, single mixes, and an electrifying 1973 concert recording. The gatefold cover faithfully replicates the original's textured snakeskin wallet design and comes complete with a $1 billion dollar bill tucked inside.

-

An instant smash when it was released in March 1973, BILLION DOLLAR BABIES delivered a theatrical mix of hard rock and glam laced with macabre lyrics that explored wealth, decadence, and fame's darker side. Newly remastered, the platinum-certified album sounds better than ever. The set also features outtakes ("Coal Black Model T"), single mixes ("Mary Ann"), and "Slick Black Limousine," which originally came out on flexi-disc within an issue of the British rock paper New Musical Express.

-

The "TRILLION DOLLAR" DELUXE EDITION also features a live show recorded in Texas in April of 1973, during the "Billion Dollar Babies" tour. The powerful performance includes live versions of many of the album's tracks, highlights including "Elected" and "Hello Hooray," along with several of the band's earlier hits, including "I'm Eighteen" and "School's Out."

-

This 3xLP version comes with an oral history of the album and the bonus tracks by the surviving band members - Alice Cooper, Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, and Neal Smith - and Bob Ezrin, who produced the album. (Sadly, guitarist Glen Buxton died in 1997)

-

In the notes, Cooper recalls writing "I Love The Dead" and "Sick Things." He says, "We were writing those songs looking at each other, and every time we'd write a line I'd say, `Oh, this is gonna kill them. Oh, they're gonna hate us on this one.' But at the same time, it was almost like an Edgar Allan Poe short story when you listen to `I Love The Dead.' I tried to write that the way Vincent Price would sing it."

Like the days of Steely Dan or Harry Nilsson releasing a classic album every year (or less) comes Mac DeMarco’s Another One, a Mini-LP announced one year after the release of the meteorically successful Salad Days. Written and recorded during the downtime between a relentless touring schedule, Another One is an eight-track release that expands the arsenal of Mac’s already impressive catalog, showing the maturity of Mac’s progression as songwriter: it’s a bit more refined, a bit more sophisticated, but nonetheless retains the guts and soul of classic Mac.

Best listened to from inside the womb, Duster’s 1998’s debut Stratosphere simultaneously capped off and reinvented the slow core’s first wave. A four track dreamscape that will wake the neighbors and then lull them back to sleep. Hazy, arpeggiated guitars layer over a deliberate drummer with no real place to be, as semi-inaudible vocals warn of millennial malaise and subtly encourage the listener to “rock out, rock out, rock out, rock out.” This foil stampled and numbered 25th anniversary edition is pressed on 180G vinyl and comes with a lyric sheet and poster.

LIVE AT THE FORUM '76, features 10 songs recorded in the Fall of 1976, just prior to the release of Hotel California. LIVE AT THE FORUM '76 will be a 2-LP set on 180-gram vinyl. The tracks will be making their vinyl debut, as they were previously only available on CD and digitally as part of 2017's "40th Anniversary Edition" of Hotel California. The live music takes up three LP sides while the final one features an exclusive etching of the artwork.

LIVE AT THE FORUM '76 was recorded during the band's three-night run at the Los Angeles Forum in October 1976. The show took place as the group was putting the finishing touches on Hotel California, which would be released that December. The concert recording captures some of the very first live performances of "Hotel California" and "New Kid In Town."

During the show, the band also play hits from earlier albums with "Take It Easy" from the band's 1972 self-titled debut; "Already Gone" from 1974's On the Border; and the #1 title track from 1975's One of These Nights. The concert also includes a raucous performance of "Funk #49," a song originally recorded by Walsh's James Gang.

Goose - Rick Mitarotonda [vocals, guitar], Peter Anspach [vocals, keys, guitar], Trevor Weekz [bass], Ben Atkind [drums], and Jeff Arevalo [vocals, percussion, drums]? - fluidly traverse genres with head-spinning hooks, technical fireworks, and the kind of chemistry only possible among small town and longtime friends. Following 2016's moon cabin, the Norwalk, CT quintet quietly took flight, playing countless shows during their ascent while slowly and steadily amassing a nationwide following. The end of 2017 saw the band welcome Peter Anspach on guitar and keyboard - a pivotal moment that solidified the group's core lineup. Months of relentless touring prepared them for a string of milestone festival performances during the summer of 2019, most notably defined by a storied performance at The Peach Music Festival in Scranton, PA. The band's subsequent pro-shot video gained significant traction, highlighting the existing catalog of content compiled over the previous two years. With increased buzz came increased demand. One by one, Goose sold out each show of their fall 2019 headlining tour and sold out last minute performances at both Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg in January 2020. Due in part to Goose's penchant for improvisation, the band has successfully navigated the myriad challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. They produced a series of intimate virtual events, culminating in a universally acclaimed Bingo Tour. The interactive, two-week live streaming event featured four full concerts with setlists determined by the outcome of a live Bingo game. Fall 2020 saw a welcome return to live performance with a slew of sold out drive-in shows throughout the Northeast, Midwest, and Mid Atlantic. Propelled by seemingly unstoppable momentum, the band concluded the year with their sixth annual Goosemas holiday concert, an epic live stream from a rooftop at Rockefeller Center. Shenanigans Nite Club, released in June 2021, encapsulates the band's rise. The nine track project is an ode to oft-forgotten vestiges of Goose's experience, both personal and collective. Bestowing deserved éclat on the emergent musicians, the album debuted at number one on Billboard's Top New Artist Albums chart. Goose kicks off 2022 with a nationwide headlining tour that includes their inaugural arena show at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The band will begin a jam-packed summer with a two night stand at the legendary Radio City Music Hall on June 24th and 25th. Dripfield, the band's third studio offering, is scheduled for release on June 24th, 2022. The album is an introspective dissection of Goose's journey, anchored by a theme of balance.
